Tamiya Avro Lancaster Mark III Dambuster Model Airplane Kit

The Tamiya 1/48 Avro Lancaster B Mk.III "Dambuster" Model Airplane Kit is designed to depict one of the main heavy bombers used by the RAF during WWII. The Dambuster earned its name by using special "Bouncing Bombs". These would be dropped in the water at speed and allowed to skip across the water to a dam wall and detonate below the surface. This model can also be built as the "Grand Slam Bomber" that carried a 10-ton "Grand Slam Earthquake" bomb. Tamiya has faithfully recreated this model to capture all of the historic detail.

NOTE: Photo of completed model is for illustrative purposes only. This is a model kit that requires assembly. Hobby tools, adhesive, and paint will be needed to complete the model.
