The Team Exalt Kyosho Mini-Z X-Rated 2S 70C Shorty LiPo Battery is an optional power upgrade designed for Kyosho Mini-Z 2WD platforms equipped with a LiPo conversion chassis. Its compact shorty layout also works well across a wide range of 1/24 and 1/28 vehicles, including the Team Associated RC10 Model 24 and the XBility RC XBOne. With a 480mAh capacity and 70C discharge rating, this hardcase pack delivers longer runtime, lower internal resistance, and stronger overall performance compared to traditional 340mAh batteries, all while adding only a few grams of weight.
Built around Exalt's hardcase architecture, this pack reduces connection losses by minimizing contact points and using efficient bullet-style plugs paired with thicker internal pathways. The result is improved current flow, reduced heat, and noticeably stronger punch under load. The hardcase design also makes wiring cleaner and easier to manage in tight-clearance chassis, keeping leads protected and organized. With its rigid shell guarding against impacts, flex, and punctures, this battery offers enhanced safety and durability for demanding small-scale racing.
NOTE: When using high energy Li-Polymer Batteries, please do not over-discharge or over-charge batteries as this will result in overheated batteries. Discharging capacity can't exceed 80% of the max capacity of the pack after full charging to ensure a good cycle performance. It is recommended to fully charge a brand new battery before using and only discharge the battery 50% for the first 5 cycles. Always monitor race time and/or set a low voltage warning on ESC (End voltage cannot be lower than 3.2v per cell). Do not use a battery that has too low a voltage. Do not expose batteries to sunshine or store/charge batteries at temperatures above 35°C or in a closed car. The high-temperature environment could cause damage to the pack or make it burst. If the battery becomes hot while fast charging, high current discharging, or racing, do not charge it until it has cooled completely. Wait about 20 mins, then inspect
